Even Newer Website Iteration

I haven't even finished my latest website and already I'm starting the design of a new one. My main motivation is that this last one was more of a test for me, considering I've limited web design experience. No matter, here's the design I'm leaning towards right now (I think I may be subconsciously influenced by the Monterey Bay Aquarium site with this, too):

Most of the people designing websites have an either or attitude, either it looks good but loads slowly or you focus on code and appear more generic. I've seen plenty of websites that contradict this thinking and I personally believe every website should be visually stunning and streamlined for search engines and download time Web Site Designed.

The previous comment doesn't make sense. Furthermore, if you're suggesting that I use someone else's web template when I've made it clear that I'm trying to learn how to make a proper website from scratch then you clearly don't understand the logic of creativity.

Hey, Mike, I just found this, and I think it's looking really good, particularly for someone who hasn't really done any web design. I like your new title header for this blog, too, particularly the "Work Blog" typography.
